Get your Flokk ready to use

Resources to help you learn how to use your Flokk include:

Before you can being using your Flokk at the animals side, you need to complete some basic set up.

• Video: Setting the date and time.
  When you Flokk has been connected to a WiFi network, and has access to that network when it is turned on, it will automatically set the date and time. However, you may occasionally be required to manually set the date and time.

• Connect your Flokk to a WiFi network
Once you have connected your Flokk to a WiFi network, you will be able to use the services at flokk.ca such as the Configuration Wizard.

• Use the Configuration Wizard to set up your Flokk
  Once you have connected your Flokk to a WiFi network, the online Configuration Wizard is the easiest way to set up your Flokk to meet your requirements, and add any existing animal records you have to the herd record on your Flokk. Detailed instructions on using the Configuration Wizard are available.

• Setting the Hang Tag template

    Before you can add animals to your Flokk's herd records you need to set how you herd's Hang Tags are formatted. This can be done using Service mode, but this is not reccommended. Instead, we reccomend you use the Wizard to completely set up your Flokk before you begin adding animals to your Flokk's herd record. However, this option is provided in case you need to start adding animals to the herd record of a Flokk, but you do not have access to a computer or WiFi.
